It MUST have a second tree to work comfortably with!

It ALREADY DOES have a second tree, and it took me all of a minute to poke around and find it -- Panes -> Dual Pane, or F10. You get two panes, each pointing to its own location on your machine. Each one uses the treeview, so when you change the pane, the treeview re-syncs, and changing the treeview changes the directory the currently-selected pane is viewing.
